When you are stressed, your digestive system gets overloaded and becomes strained which in turn causes inflammation, stomach problems, and open to viruses and infections. Over time our body reacts to stress which can lead to adrenal fatigue or burnout, insulin problems, hormonal imbalances, weight gain, and many more issues. The gut has many receptors which control our HPA axis which control our adrenal hormones.
If we don't eat properly and reach for quick fixes or miss meals, and poor food choices, our body, and digestion suffers.
